   Résumé
   Gérant d'un club de strip-tease, Larry Flynt conquit la notoriété, au prix de quelques démêlés avec la justice, en fondant Hustler, revue pornographique qui lui apporta la fortune. Milos Forman se donne beaucoup de mal pour faire de ce personnage assez sordide, mû essentiellement par l'appât du gain, un héraut de la liberté d'expression et la victime d'un système qui, selon lui, préfère l'obscénité de la guerre à l'obscénité tout court.
